Unique Gift Shop in the Ozarks

About Us: History

The Cornerstone Collection was a unique gift shop located in the Fashion Center Mall in Harrison, Arkansas, a small town in the scenic Ozarks.  The shop owners were Virley Wilson and Jerry O’Dell.  Our shop has a family atmosphere and we were blessed to have so many wonderful customers who had become our friends.  In 1997, Virley and a friend who has since retired, opened the business and had seen it change over the years and evolve.

Virley had been in retail for the last thirty years.  A long-time member of the Ozarks Craft Guild, she and her husband Oscar have had Bulldogs for most of the past thirty-five years and currently live on a small farm with their three dogs, an English Bulldog, a black Labrador and a Mountain Feist.

Jerry has been involved in showing purebred dogs for over thirty-five years.  He has been an active member of the North Arkansas Kennel Club in Harrison since 1992 and has been the club’s Show Chairman for the past ten years.  Jerry graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design.  He got involved in retail in 1999, and in 2004 he became Virley’s partner in The Cornerstone Collection.

We were told that we had the largest selection of dog items to be found in our area and we were constantly on the lookout for new items to add to our collection.

We closed the shop in 2009 and have gone to the internet to sell our dog collection products.
